We are not a large corporation; we are a small family enterprise operated by husband-and-wife team John and Linda. John’s passion for watches began in the 1960’s when as a teenager he started collecting pocket watches.
Fast forward to 1995 when he started his first watch company Trekka Sport, producing sports watches for the retail sector. The Arctic Watch Company followed shortly after, producing high-end dress watches selling through publications such as Elle Magazine.
Fifteen years later in 2010 during a two-thousand-mile drive across Europe, we conceived the idea of creating a business that would combine John’s passion for watches, with the growing trend towards retro-styling and traditional values and Eriksen was born.
The Eriksen name comes from John’s mother who was born in Copenhagen and we now operate the business from our premises in the Cotswolds.
Our watch designs combine retro-aesthetic with modern efficiency to create beautiful timepieces that define the elegance and sophistication of a bygone era, at an affordable price. From these small beginnings, we now send our watches to all corners of the globe.
